It is larger than the fx-7000G, has more memory, and it has a data expansion port, that lets it to be connected to an FA-80 cassette/printer adapter. Yes, this calculator represents a peculiar era: it was the PC era already, and a parallel printer with a Centronics connector was not at all an unusual accessory, but it was an era that preceded the standardizedPC; hence, rather than providing an I/O capability that would let you transfer files between your PC and your calculator, the designers opted for an interface to an external cassette tape recorder for program storage.
